winter dreams.

24fef1c6d991afb89f47ce60315d568e3 of my favorite things all in one. snow. outdoors. modern.

it is officially the season of baking.  one of my absolute favorite things to do.  [if only i had the time i used to!]

neutral hue’s rustic vs. modern event at west elm.

we had a blast at our rustic v modern event at west elm atlanta this week.  ashley styled out a fab rustic holiday table + i styled out a modern holiday table with fur, gold + mid century-love.  how cute are these little birdie salt + pepper shakers? and these metallic glasses are just gorgeous in-person!  see my detailed picks here

happy halloween.

i had a little halloween fun earlier this season when i did a shoot for west elm . + mila was included for a teepee shot, so her costume was then inspired.  you can see the rest of the shoot her on babiekins!

happy halloween.

last year’s costume was a tiger, and this year my little lion has stolen my heart again. i figure i have limited time to dress him “cute” before he wants to start wearing the something the cool kids will envy.

lighting your [modern] table.

we are so thrilled about tonight’s rustic vs. modern tabletop styling event with west elm atlanta. here is a little sneak peek at the lighting i love the most to light my modern tabletop this holiday season.

warm + fuzzy

wyatt has a little tree in his room this year filled with furry & felted woodland animals. this little guy would make a fabulous addition, don’t you think?

a traditional holiday.

as you know i can’t help but love a classic Christmas and this twist on a wreath is no exception. simple, timeless and filled with interest for the festivities.

minimal holiday home

with a 9 month old, i love the challenge of decorating for the holiday without  a tree that could easily be pulled down by my curious little lady. hanging sparkling branches will be the tree this year.

jingle bells

a strand of jingles to get you in the holiday spirit!

minimal ornaments

i was introduced to this etsy shop by anne sage of the city sage. minimal adornments galore. perfect for my newly-painted white walls.

holiday home.

december is now here, so bring on all the warm, fuzzies + glitter of the holidays. and with little 9 month old mila crawling around + trying to pull herself up onto everything, i’m thinking  hanging holiday wall decor may be the only way to go this year.

a holiday home.

by now i hope your home, too, is ready for the holidays. the most wonderful time of the year.

holiday twists

every holiday season, i bake  buttery  mini cinnamon twist brioche for all those for whom i am most grateful.
